GNU Free Documentation License What are the rules for you workplace fridge? Q. I just cleaned out our fridge at work because something someone left in there leaked all over the place, including in the bottom drawer I use. I tossed items that expired weeks ago, months ago and even last year, as well as leftovers that had stuff growing on them. We are trying to come up with some rules on fridge use like no plastic bags, everything will be tossed on Friday afternoons, name and date are required on all items. What fridge rules do you have at work? Do they work? Who is responsible for enforcing them? What rules would you like to have regarding fridge use at your workplace? Great information from most of you. Thank you so much! Asked by Queen of Whatever - Mon Oct 8 11:40:08 2007 - - 8 Answers - 0 Comments A. Anything put in the fridge at work must be labeled with the food owner's name...or it can be tossed by the boss. And, the boss does do some tossing. If an item leaked out in our fridge, as happened in your workplace, the owner of that item would be responsible for cleaning it up, and no one should be hesitant in bringing the spill to that person's attention...and in turn...that person should not be hesitant in cleaning it up. If this became an issue, I feel it is worthy of noting in the employee's file, and brought up in his/her regular scheduled review. It goes toward work ethic and benefiting the group dynamic. The rule about emptying the fridge on Fridays sounds like a good one. Assigning some one to be the "fridge police"? Were these rules Howard Dean made up? So now he gets to punish Florida voters for "breaking the rules" when they were some rule he made up. How can the Democratic party have a chairman who does not believe in Democracy? Who made up the rules that were supposedly broken? They were told that if the primaries took place the delegates would not be seated at the convention. The DNC basically said, "screw you we are having the primaries anyway." Answered by amnesty sucks - Mon Mar 31 16:58:14 2008 Why is Pelosi repealing the rules to effectively block all Republican inputs on legislation?
Q. Gingrich added the rules in 1996 to allow both sides of the table a voice in creating bills. The rules also had term limits for committee seats. Why is Pelosi trying squashing all promises of bipartisanship by telling the Republicans to stay home because they don't matter anyway?
